| Term | Definition |

| Acute Angle | An angle less than 90 degrees |
| Acute Triangle | A triangle that has all angles less than 90 degrees |
| Adjacent Angles | Two angles that have a common side and a common vertec and don't overlap |
| Angle Bisector | A line that splits an angle into two equal angles |
| Angle | The amount of trun between two lines around their common point (the vertex) |
| Collinear | When three or more points slide on a straight line |
| Coplanar | Points that are on the same plane |
| Equilateral (Equiangular) Triangle | A triangle with all three sides of equal length |
| Isosceles Triangle | A triangle with two equal sides |
| Line | A long thin mark or boundary |
| Obtuse Angle | An obtuse angle is more than 90 degrees but less than 180 degrees |
| Obtuse Triangle | A triangle with an angle greater than 90 degrees A triangle can only have one obtuse angle |
| Plane | A flat surface with no thickness and extends forever |
| Point | An exact location It has no size only position |
| right Angle | An angle which is equal to 90 degrees |
| Ray | A part of a line with a start point but no end point |
| Segment | The smallest part of a circle model when it is cut by a line or part of a line or curve |
| Scalene Triangle | A triangle with all sides of different lengths |
| Skew Lines | Lines that don't intersect and are not parallel |
| Straight Angle | A straight angle changes the direction to point the opposite way. It looks like a straight line. |
| Vertical Angles | The angles opposite each other when two lines cross. They are always equal. |
| Triangle | A 3-sided flat shape with straight sides |
| Supplementary Angles | Angles whose measures add up to 180 degrees |
| Complementary Angles | Angles whose measures add up to 90 degrees |
| Median | A segment drawn from a vertex to the midpoint of the side opposite |
| Altitude | A segment drawn from a vertex perpendicular to the side opposite |
