coronal/Frontal plane divides into anterior and posterior portions
sagittal plane divides into right and left
Axial/Transverse plane like this -, it divides upper and lower part
Dorsal cavity Cranial, Vertebral, Components of central nervous system, and meninges.
Ventral Cavity Thoracic, Pelvic, and Abdominal.
Cranial Cavity Cavity contains the brain.
Vertebral Cavity Cavity contains the spinal column.
Thoracic cavity Lungs, heart, blood vessels, thymus gland, and breath tissue.
Pelvic/abdominal cavity Bladder, large intestine, rectum, reproductive organs.
