Chapter 8 – The Teacher Sent From God

Infidelity Lack of faith or belief. Unfaithfulness; disbelief in religion.
Materialism A focus on physical possessions rather than spiritual values. A doctrine that denies the existence of spiritual realities.
Degeneracy Decline or deterioration. A sinking into a lower or less excellent state.
Stupor A state of near-unconsciousness or insensibility. Dullness of intellect or feeling.
Exaction The act of demanding or forcing payment. Severe demands; oppression.
Propitiate To appease or pacify. To atone for or reconcile.
Demoniacal Possessed or influenced by demons. Fiendish; resembling demons.
Corruption Dishonest or fraudulent conduct. Depravity; impurity.
