humor To attempt to satisfy someone by doing what that person wants.
turbulence Violent and uneven movement within the atmosphere.
altimeter An instrument in aircraft that measures its height above the ground.
visualize To form a mental picture, to image.
channel A route or passageway.
abate To lessen or weaken.
desperation A feeling of hopelessness that usually leads to reckless behavior.
naturalist A person who studies nature, especially animal and plant life.
motivated Having a strong reason to do something.
asset Something valuable to have or own.
pulverize To reduce to dust or powder, to crush.
gorge To stuff oneself with a large amount of food.
