| Channel | a long, narrow groove that forms where water, lava, or other liquid flows |
| Geologic process | an event or series of events that causes changes in the geosphere, such as flowing water or flowing lava |
| Claim | A claim is a statement that answers a question about an observation or scientific problem.its a conclusion based on evidence and reasoning . |
| Evidence | evidence is the data and observation you collect to support the claim its the information that helps answer a scientific question. |
| Reasoning | Reasoning is the explanation that connects your evidence to your claim.Its the "why' or "how" your evidence proves your claim. |
