| SYSTEM | A SET of INTERACTING PARTS FORMING A COMPLEX WHOLE |
| LANDFORM | a feature that forms on the surface of a planet, such as a mountain, channel, or sand dune |
| channel | a long narrow groove that forms where water, lava, or other liquid flows |
| geologic process | an event or series of events that causes changes in the geosphere, such as flowing water or flowing lava |
| MODEL | an object, diagram computer program that helps us understand something by making it simpler or easier to see |
| CLAMM | A statement that answers a question about an observation or a scientific problem it's a conclusion based on evidence and reasoning |
| EVIDENCE | is the data and observations you collect to support a claim. it's the information that helps answer a scientific question |

| Mantle | the layer of soft, solid rock underneath Earth's Plates |
