constant of proportionality a constant ratio or unit rate of two variable quantities.It is also called constant of variation.
nonproprotional the relationship between two ratios with a rate or ratio that is not constant.
proportion an equation stating that two ratios or rates are equivalent.
proportional the relationship between two ratios with a constants rate or ratio
proportional relationship two quantities are in a proportional relationship if the two quantities vary and have a constant ratio between them.
unit rate a rate in which the first quantity is compared to every 1 unit of second
