Lines, and Angles

| angle | - the space between two intersecting lines |
| parallel lines | - lines that NEVER cross |
| intersecting lines | - lines that cross at any angle |
| perpendicular lines | - lines that cross at a 90 degree angle |
| acute angle | - measures LESS than 90 degrees |
| obtuse angle | - measures MORE than 90 degrees |
| right angle | - measures EXACTLY 90 degrees |
| straight angle | - a straight angle looks like a straight line and measures 180 degrees |
| right triangles | - a triangle that has one 90 degree right angle |
| acute triangles | - a triangle that has ALL acute angles |
| obtuse triangles | - a triangle that has 1 obtuse angle |
| line segment | - a part of a line that has 2 endpoints |
| ray | - a part of a line that starts at 1 endpoint and continues in one direction without ending |
| vertex/point | - where the sides of a 2D figure meet |
| line | - a straight path that continues in opposite directions without ending |
