Format for punctuation and quotations punctuation goes outside of quotations -- “Te quiero”.
Format for dialogue use a dash to open a dialogue (instead of quotation marks) and to enclose the dialogue tag (instead of commas). -- Lo amo –dijo ella–. Siempre lo he amado.

Impersonal expressions (example) Se necesita más educación pública.
Purpose (por vs para) para que (Estudio para que tenga éxito en el examen.)
