Compose To bring together or join you can use it in a sentence like you would use the word "make"
Decompose Break apart
Rearrange To move around or Change Position
Area the total space inside a shape measured in square units
Right Angle 90 degree angle sits between perpendicular lines
Vertex Where two lines intersect, bottom of an angle Also known as a "point", or where the "corner" is.
Parallelogram A shape with four sides, opposite sides are equal and parallel, opposite angles are equal.
Parallel two lines that never intersect
Perpendicular two lines that intersect at a right angle
Base of Parallelogram or Triangle Side length
Height of Parallelogram or Triangle Perpendicular to the base
Polygon A 2D shape with straight edges - no curves - , closed shape with no lines crossing, shape is not filled. Polygons have lines of symmetry (shape can be decompose into two equal halves)
