Friend Letter Vocab

QuestionAnswer
Heading Your address and the date. Placed in the upper right-hand margin of the paper.
Salutation The greeting, begins with Dear and has a comma after name
Body Paragraph Main part or paragraphs of the letter
Closing Written below the body paragraph, begins to the right of the middle of the letter
Signature Final part of a letter, written below the closing
Exposition The beginning of the story, introduces the characters and setting
Rising Action The central part of the story, evens happen that build the suspense
Falling Action The events that happen after the climax, and leads to the resolution
Resolution The end of the story, the loose ends are ties up
Setting Time and place of the story
