What is the speed of something in a direction? velocity
what is newtons 1st law of motion? an object at rest will remain at rest
what is newtons 2nd law? acceleration is directly related to net force and inversely related to mass
what is newtons 3rd law? for every action in nature there is an equal and opposite reaction
what is conduction? he transfer of heat or electricity through direct contact
what is convection? a method of heat transfer that occurs in fluids creating circulating currents
what is radiation? energy that travels from a source and through space or materials, often in the form of waves or particles
what is the relationship between mass and force? direct
what is Ohm's law? that electric current is proportional to voltage and inversely proportional to resistance
what does a switch do? controls the flow of electricity
What are transverse waves? perpendicular waves
What are longitudinal waves? parallel waves
what are EM waves? electromagnetic waves

What does amplitude mean? maximum displacement of a point on the wave from its equilibrium
