Scientific Method a method of research in which a problem is identified, relevant data are gathered, a hypothesis is formulated from these data, and the hypothesis is empirically tested.
Hypothesis a mere assumption or guess.
Independent Variable Variable that determines the outcome of the dependent variable. (x-axis)
Dependent Variable Variable that is determined by the independent variable. (y-axis)
Experimental Control The objects you dont experiment on.

Percent Error % error= measured value-accepted value/accepted value X 100
