What do we measure forces with Newton meter
What is the meaning of non-contact force Act between two objects that are not physically touching
What is tension It is a pulling force exerted on a object
What is the meaning of contact force Act between two objects that physically touch each other
What is friction? A force that opposes motion
What is air resistance? the force that opposes the motion of objects through air
Upthrust A force that pushes things up in liquids and gases.
What is thrust meaning A driving force exerted by an engine to make something move
Normal Reaction When an object pushes on a surface, the surface pushes back on the object with a balancing force
What can forces do[1] They can speed up or slow down
What is Deformation When we apply force to an object to change it's shape
What can a deformation be? stretch, compress
What elastic material do when it is deformed it will return to it original shape
What will inelastic material do when deformed It is changes it's shape permanently
