majority multiply 0.5 times the total
does anybody have the majority? Is anyone greater than the majority?
plurality method first place only, who has the most votes?
borda count points are assigned to first place, second place, third place,....tally and see who has the most total points
pairwise comparison pair off the candidates, look at who ranks higher and give them the votes, winner gets one point overall, if there's a tie then each gets 1/2 a point, candidate with the highest overall total points wins
plurality with elimination look at first place only and see how many votes each candidate has, if the candidate with the highest number of votes has the majority then they are the winner. If they don't have the majority, eliminate the loser and repeat the whole process again.
