Civil Rights Movement

| Brown Vs. Board of Education | supreme court ruling that said schools could no longer be segregated and that separate schools are unequal |
| desegregation | prefix "de-" means not/opposite/undo...therefore desegregation basically means to undo segregation |
| Assissinate | to murder by a sudden or secret attack, often for political or religious reasons |
