Archaeologist A person who studies old things from the past. Example: The archaeologist discovered a buried Inca temple.
Historian A person who studies and writes about history. Example: A historian wrote a book about the Inca civilization.
Remnants Small pieces left from something old. Example: The remnants of the ancient city were found in the jungle.
Era A long period of time in history. Example: The Inca era lasted for hundreds of years.
Fragments Small broken parts of something. Example: The archaeologist found fragments of old pottery in the ruins.
