QuestionAnswer
What causes a person to see color? The frequencies of light that are given off o reflected by an object.
How do we percieve a particular frequency as a particular color This depends on our eye-brain system.
What causes color blindness Defective cones in the retina of the eye
Who was the first person to explore color in detail Isaac Newton
What did Isaac Newton do? Passes a beam of sunlight through a glass prism
List the colors in the color spectrum red, orange, yellow, green, blue. violet (ROYGBV)
Describe white light? its not truly a color but a combination of all colors EX.sunlight
Describe black as it is related to light. It is not a true color but is the absence of any color of light.
