QuestionAnswer
CPoA (Commutative Property of Addition) Change the order (ex. 4+5=5+4)
CPoM (Commutative Property of Multiplication) Change the order [ex. 4(5)=5(4)]
IPoA (Identity Property of Addition) If a number and zero are in an addition equation/expression, the number will remain the same (ex. 3+0=3)
IPoM (Identity Property of Multiplication) Any number multiplied by 1, it remains the same [ex. 3(1)=3]
ZPoM (Zero Property of Multiplication) Any number multiplied by 0, the product will be 0. [ex. 3(0)=0]
APoA (Associative Property of Addition) Changing the group(s) in order of operations in addition [ex. 2+(5+4) or (2+5)+4]
APoM (Associative Property of Multiplication) Changing the group(s) in order of operations for multiplication (ex. 2 X (5 X 4) or (2 X 5) X 4
