| sanctity (n) | The state or quality of being sacred, holy, or saintly |
| wizened (adj) | Shriveled or wrinkled with age. |
| famished (adj) | Extremely hungry; starved |
| elude (v) | Evade or escape from (a danger, enemy, or pursuer), typically in a skillful or cunning way |
| imprudent (adj) | Not careful; not showing care for the consequences of an action |
| untenable (adj) | Not able to be maintained or defended against attack or objection |
