Ratio, Unit Rate, Percent

DefinitionTerm
a comparison of two numbers or quantities (can be written 3 ways -1:2, 1 to 2, 1/2) ratio
a ratio of two quantities with different units of measurement rate
a ratio of measurements in which the second measurement (or denominator) is 1. unit rate
a part-to-whole ratio comparing an amount to 100 percent
