Critical Vocabulary

TermDefinition
curator A curator is the person who is in charge of the works of art or objects in a museum.
foreground The foreground of a picture or photograph is the area that is closest to the viewer.
background The background of a picture or photograph contains things that are not as noticeable or important as the main objects or people in the picture or photograph.
rhythmic It has a pattern of sounds, movements, or beats that repeat.
distinctive It stands out in a way that makes it different or unusual.
highlight You call attention to it.
horizontal It is level with the ground.
