QuestionAnswer
rotation (rotate) To turn on an axis or center.
How long does one rotation take? 24 hours/1 day
revolution (revolve) To move in an orbit.
How long does one revolution take? 365.25 days/1 year
axis A line on which a body (Earth) rotates.
tilt A slant or sloping surface,
orbit The path taken by one body circling around another body.
elliptical orbit An orbit path that is like a flattened circle. (egg shaped)
