Because we thought that stronger nations should dominate the weaker ones and the Philipeans had a lot of land and a way to get to China. How does Roosevelt stir so much controversy in Panama and Latin America with his Roosevelt Corollary? by intervening with Latin American countries when we didn't approve of something. We also put Culture superiority on these countries
What are Roosevelts foreign policies and diplomatic achievements, especially with regards to Japan? Teddy helped with the Russo-Japanese War and negotiated Gentlemens agreement to limit Japanese immigration
Who was Alfred Thayer Mahan A proud veteran who served in the Navy and wrote a book about a strong Navy and Sea Power. This led to the expansion of the Navy.
