Henry the Navigator Prince of Portugal that helped promote exploration by Portuguese sailors.
Vasco da Gama Explorer that sailed around Africa to reach India.
Christopher Columbus Italian navigator who discovered the New World while looking for a route to China.
Ferdinand Magellan The explorer and crew that was the first to sail around (circumnavigate) the globe.

Francis Drake English sailor and pirate famous for exploring the Americas and attacking Spanish ships.
Spanish Armada a large Spanish fleet of ships that was defeated by England.
