| Dividend | the percentage of a company's earnings that is paid to its shareholders as their share of the profits |
| Excise Tax | indirect tax charged by the government on the sale of a particular good or service, like gas. |
| Deductable | the amount of out of pocket money that the insured person must pay before their insurance policy starts paying for covered expenses. |

| Copayment | amount of money that a patient with health insurance pays for each health care service |
