TermDefinition
Table of contents It helps the reader identify key topics in the book in the order they are presented. It is ls located at the beging of the book.
Headings They tell the reader what a section of a book us about.
subheading They tell the reader what a section of the text is about under a heading .
Illustrations They help the reader visualize and under stand the text (drawing,painting,digital graphing)
Captions They help the reader better understand of a picture of a photo
Photograph They show the reader what something looks in real life.
Timeline They help to see important events in order..
Charts/graphs They show information data in a visual way so that it is more understanding to the reader.
