Lax -adj. -careless, negligent; not tense, slack When the bill came the woman was Lax and sat in her seat asleep.
Legacy -noun -something handed down from one who has gone before or from the past; a bequest My younger cousin wears the legacy that I gave her.
Lesion -noun -wound, injury; especially one created by a disease The lesion from the boy had spread and now his whole school has it.
Lethargy -noun -laziness, tiredness; sluggish The cheetah kept eating Cheetos, laying down and watching Tv and became lethargy.
Lexicon -noun -a dictionary; vocabulary terms used in or of a particular profession, subject, or style -Determination is one of the most important words in my lexicon
Lieu -noun -instead of in place of -In lieu of going to workout, I ended up going to the mall

Martyr -noun -someone willing to sacrifice and even give his/her life or cause; also one who pretends suffering to gain sympathy -I was a martyr while raising children 24/7.
Masticate -verb -to chew I masticated my food very fast so that I could play right after.
Melancholy -noun -depression of spirits; gloomy; weary On halloween it was a melancholy day out in the woods.
Menagerie -noun -a collection of live wild animals on exhibit The man was cooking a Menagerie when he was on his camping trip.
Migratory -adj. -roving, wandering, nomadic Most bats are Migratory, while humans live a opposite life style.
Milieu -noun -environment or surroundings The woman grew up in a military milieu.
Mirage -noun -unreal reflection; an optical illusion His face was too much of a mirage because he was so cute.
Misanthropy -noun -someone who hates mankind The Karen was a misanthropy person to her neighbor.
Misnomer -noun -an incorrect or inappropriate name When the girl talked to her friend she called her and it was a bit of a misnomer.
