TermDefinition
Program A collection of instructions that can be executed by a computer to perform a specific task
Word Processor A computer program that provides for input, editing, formatting, and output of text
Icon An easily understood symbol (image) of a software tool, function, or data file that helps the user navigate a computer system
Ribbon The grouping of a set of toolbars located within tabs of a program’s environment allowing a user quick access to features and controls

Clipboard A section of computer memory that temporarily stores data

Tab Key A key on the keyboard that advances the cursor to the next tab stop in the document
Bullet Point A typographical symbol or glyph used to introduce items in a list
