| Ribbon | The grouping of a set of toolbars located within tabs of a program’s environment allowing a user quick access to features and controls |
| Formatting Tools | Program features that give the user options in changing the appearance of text, images, or document design |
| Document | A file that contains electronic matter, like text and images |
| Text | The letters, numbers, and symbols on a page |
| Font | A set style of text |
| Clipboard | A section of computer memory that temporarily stores data |
| Cursor | A visual cue, such as a flashing vertical line, on a video display that indicates position where the user is working |
| Tab Key | A key on the keyboard that advances the cursor to the next tab stop in the document |
| Bullet Point | A typographical symbol or glyph used to introduce items in a list |
