How did Americans manage to corner the British at Yorktown? They defeated Cornwallis by using a multi-pronged attack. Three American armies surrounded Cornwallis at Yorktown, one led by Washington, one led by LaFayette, and one led by Nathanael Greene. A French naval force defeated them at the only other option.
Why did colonists fear the Quebec Act? It made Roman Catholicism the official religion of Quebec and extended the territories south to the Ohio River. Colonists feared it would limit their freedoms in the future and allow Parliament to establish Anglicanism as the state religion in America.
