Colloquial /colloquialism The use of slang in speeches and writings.
Coherence A demanding that parts any composition so that the whole can be clear and intelligible
Connotation Non literal associative meaning of words that imply to ideas emotions or attitudes
Denotation Strick dictionary definition that devoid a mood or color
Diction Refers to writer word choices in regard to correctness or effectiveness.
Ethos What an audience values and believes to be good or true
Euphemism Word/ phase that are less direct or offensive to another
Hyperbole A figure of speech that uses exaggeration
Imagery Description of which impresses the image of the image of the image using 5 senses.
