Colloquial(ism) the use of slang or informalities in speech or writing.
Coherence parts of any composition arranged so that the meaning can be clear and intelligible.
Connotation the definition of a word that goes beyond its literal definition.
denotation the literal definition of a word
Diction refers to the writers words, with regard to their correctness, and clearness
Ethos an appeal that goes to the audiences beliefs
Eupheism the use of a word or phrase that is less direct and offensive.
Hyperbole a figure of speech to exaggerate and produce a comical effect for irony.
Hypophora a figure of reasoning in which one or more questions are asked and answered, responding to their own questions.
Imagery describes an image with using the five sences.
