Sun A star that other planets revolve around

Shadow A dark area created by an object that blocks light
Solar Energy Energy formed from the light and heat of the sun

Axis An imaginary line that goes though the North and South pole of the Earth
Circumference The distance around a circle
Compass A tool used to measure direction
Season A time of year with specific weather that repeats each year
Sundial A tool that tells time by using the changing direction of shadows caused by the sun's movement across the sky
