Poetry vs. Prose
Review each characteristic to determine whether it describes poetry or prose.

| Poetry | Packs an emotional punch. |
| Poetry | Can have super strict form or follow specific rules. |
| Poetry | Can be formless or not follow specific rules. |
| Poetry | Includes figurative language. |
| Poetry | May have specific rhythm (beat) or rhyme scheme. |
| Poetry | May NOT rhyme AKA Free-verse poetry. |
| Poetry | May deviate or go away from the standard convention rules AKA missing periods or end punctuation, missing capital letters, etc. |
| Prose | Written in sentences and paragraphs. |
