Factors and Multiple

TermDefinition
Whole numbers that are multiplied together to get a specific product Factors or Factor pairs
The product of a given factor and a whole number. Ex: 2 - 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 Multiple
A whole number greater than 1 that has MORE than 2 factors Composite number
A whole number greater than 1 that has EXACTLY 2 factors, 1 and itself. Prime number
