Dissolution

Aqueous Solution A mixture where water acts as the solvent
Solute A substance that dissolves in another substance
Solvent A substance, usually a liquid, that has the ability to dissolve other substances
Dissolution The process of dissolving or forming a solution
Temperature The property of matter which reflects the quantity of energy of motion of the component particles. It is a comparative measure of how hot or cold a material is.
Surface Area total area that the surface of an object occupies
Agitation Stirring
Volume quantity of three-dimensional space occupied by a liquid, solid, or gas
