| futile | Certain to fail; hopeless of useless. |
| grudge | A feeling of resentment To be unwilling to give |
| inspire | To fill with emotion or great excitement. |
| majority | The greater number or part; more than half. |
| persevere | To refuse to give up despite difficulties. |
| possess | To have or to own. To get power over |
| prejudice | An opinion or strong feeling formed without careful thought or regard to the facts. To cause to have such a feeling. |
| resolute | Determined not to give in; unyeilding. |
| sneer | To look down on with scorn; to mockor insult by words or manner. A scornful look or mocking or insulting remark. |
| unanimous | Without any disagreement. |
| unruly | Badly behaved. Hard to control. |
