¿Qué hora es?

Es la una. It is one o'clock.
Son las dos (tres, etc.). It is two (three, etc.) o'clock.
¿Qué hora es? What time is it?
Time after or past the hour is expressed by saying … y
time before the hour is expressed by saying … menos
Es la una y diez. It is ten (minutes) after (past) one.
Son las dos menos veinte. It is twenty (minutes) to (of) two.
half past the hour is expressed by saying… y media
a quarter past (after) the hour is expressed by saying … y cuarto
Son las seis y media. It is half past six.
Son las nueve menos cuarto. It is a quarter to nine.
Son las diez y cuarto. It is a quarter after ten.
¿A qué hora? At what time?
a la una at one o'clock
a las dos (tres, etc.) at two (three, etc,) o'clock
de la mañana in the morning (AM)
de la tarde in the afternoon (PM)
