| What is a NOUN? | A noun is a person, place or thing, or an idea. EXAMPLE: a cat, boy, girl, mirror, computer. Love, wisdom, happiness (ideas) |
| What is an ADJECTIVE? | Adjectives describe, or give more information about nouns (person, place or thing). EXAMPLE: important, confident, small, red, blue... ITALIAN meatballs, PURPLE crayon |
| What is a VERB? | A verb describes and action, occurrence or state of being. EXAMPLE: run, jump, sing (action); emerge, develop, dance (occurrence); am, is, are (state of being) |
