| Development | Economic growth and improvement in a community or region, often supported by local businesses and initiatives. |
| Legal tender | The official currency recognized by a country's government for the payment of debts (for example: dollars in the USA, euros in Europe…). |
| Lending system | A system through which financial institutions provide loans to individuals or businesses. |
| Loans | Sums of money borrowed from financial institutions to be paid back with interest over time. (I borrow money from the bank = the bank lends me money) |
