What was the McCullough vs. Maryland case and what did it show? | Fed gov't creates national bank, state of Maryland didn't like this & taxed national bank, & fed gov't refused to pay tax. The outcome showed that the federal government has the power to create bank without state interference because of supremacy clause. |
