What can you do at Angel Falls? You can swim at the bottom of the falls.
Why is the waterfall named Angel Falls? It is named after Jimmy Angel. He was an American aviator who discovered the falls in 1933.

Where is Easter Island? It is an island, 2200 miles of the west coast of Chile in the Pacific Ocean.
Who built the statues on Easter Island? They were built by the Rapa Nui carvers.
What is the name of the statues on Easter Island? They are called Moai.
When were the Moais built? Around AD 1400-1600
What do the Moai statues look like? They are historic soft volcanic rocks made out in the shape of humans. These heads are around 13 feet tall and weigh up to 14 tons. Some have bodies buried underground.
How many statues are on the island? Over 900.
Which islands located in the Southern Hemisphere are among the most remote in the world? The Galapagos islands and Easter Island.
Where are the Galapagos islands? The Galápagos Islands is a volcanic archipelago in the Pacific Ocean, located on both the Northern hemisphere and the Southern Hemisphere.
ONE reason why the Galapagos islands are famous: Famous for its biodiversity including 800 species of mollusks, 400 species of fish, 3 varieties of colorful seabirds and the only specie of Iguanas which live in salt water, the Marine Iguana. Most are unique, endemic, to the island.
What is the geology of the Galapagos islands? Has active volcanoes because it is at the intersection of three tectonic plates. There are various habitats on the Galapagos Islands including coral reefs, highland forests, and sand dunes.

A second reason why the Galapagos islands are famous: Charles Darwin discovered the concept of natural selection and evolution while visiting the island.
