Measurements & Percent Error

What is accuracy calculated with? Percent error
Precision How close several measured values are to each other
Formula to get percent error (accepted - experimental value/ accepted value) x 100
What is an accurate percent error? Smaller values; less than 5%
Rules for recording measurements? Report all known digits plus one estimated digit
Precision limitation Last value you are allowed to report
