crucible tongs transport hot crucibles and can go directly into the flame
graduated cylinder used to measure liquids
funnel transfer liquids or solids and prevents spillage
test tube tongs to hold test tubes over an open flame
test tube rack to hold or dry test tubes
watch glass to safely watch a chemical reaction
focepts to pick up small objects; also known as tweezers
balance to find the mass of an object
apron to protect your clothing
iron ring used to support glassware in the laboratory
lab burner used to heat solutions and objects in the lab
ring stand supports iron rings and utility clamps in the lab; acts as an extra arm in the lab
scoopula to transport and scoop small amounts of solids and neatly pour into a thin top container
glass stirring rods used to aide in the mixing of chemical; since they are made from glass they will most likely not contaminate your solution
utility clamp to support test tubes and other glassware on the ring stand
pneumatic trough used for collecting a gas; can also be used for holding water
test tube brush used to clean glassware
wire gauze used to support glassware while it is being heated by a lab burner
hot plate / stirrer used to heat flammable liquids and to mix solutions in the lab
goggles eye protection from chemicals and flying objects
wash bottle rinse out glassware
wide mouth bottle multipurpose container
pinch clamp prevents the flow of gas through the rubber tubing
rubber stopper may have no holes, one hole, or two holes; seal glassware or allow some gases in or others out
spatula spoon can be used for scraping, mixing, or scooping chemicals
pipet transfer small amounts of a liquid
burette clamp holds a burette to the ring stande
petri dish to see and contain chemicals and or objects in the lab
micro well plate to run small reactions and to limit the amount of chemical being used
flint lighter safe way to light a bunsen burner
burette used to measure liquids as they are being dispense during a chemical reaction
