Data Displays and Number Systems

TermDefinition
Data Information that is gathered in by counting, measuring, questioning, or observing.
Statistics The study of numerical collecting, organizing, and analyzing data to interpret it and answer questions.
Variability How to spread out the values in set of data are.
Statistical Question A question that would be answered by collecting of analyzing data.
Range The difference between the maximum and the minimum in data set. The range is a measure of how to spread out a distribution is.
