| premonition | a strong feeling that something is about to happen |
| profound | deep, powerful, or meaningful |
| devastating | very destructive or causing intense grief |
| impediment | something that is in the way, an obstacle or difficulty |
| precise | exact |
| ominous | giving a sign of future evil or threatening trouble |
| beckon | to motion for someone to come over |
| resentment | the anger or bitterness someone feels when something that has happened to them is unfair or wrong |
