¿Cómo define Umberto Eco un signo? Entidad reconocida socialmente y entendida por convención.
¿Cuáles son las clases de signos? Según su fuente de emisión, los signos se clasifican en dos tipos: naturales y artificiales.
¿Qué son los signos naturales? Índices (Indicios) con relación directa con lo que representan. El hombre no intervino en su creación intencionalmente.
¿Cuáles son los signos naturales? Huella, síntoma, presagio.
¿Qué es una huella? Representación de un objeto que ya no está presente. (pisada, mancha)
