Motion, Force and Energy

QuestionAnswer
Motion The State in which one object's distance from another is changing
Refrence point A place or an object used for comparison to determine if an object is in motion
Internation System of Units (SI) A system of measurement based on multiples of 10 and on establish measures of mass, distance, volume and time
Meter The basic SI unit of distance or length
Speed The distance an object travels in one unit of time
Velocity Speed in a given direction
Acceleration The rate at which velocity changes
