TermDefinition
Energy |ˈenədʒɪ| the power that makes things happen. It's what lets us move, play, and even think. There are many different types of energy, like the energy in food that keeps us strong, or the energy in sunlight that helps plants grow.
Diet |ˈdaɪət| what you eat and drink regularly to stay healthy and strong
Minerals |ˈmɪnərəlz| natural substances found in the Earth that are essential for the health and growth of living things, including humans. Examples of minerals include calcium, iron, potassium, and zinc.
Proteins |ˈprəʊtiːnz| Proteins play crucial roles in building and repairing tissues, supporting the immune system, and regulating various bodily functions. Common sources of protein include meat, fish, eggs, dairy products, legumes, nuts, and seeds.
Vitamins |ˈvɪtəmɪnz| Vitamins are essential nutrients that our bodies need to stay healthy. Some common vitamins include vitamin C, found in fruits and vegetables, and vitamin D, obtained from sunlight
Fizzy |ˈfɪzɪ| "Fizzy" describes a type of drink that contains bubbles or carbonation, giving it a bubbly sensation when consumed. Fizzy drinks include sodas, sparkling water, and certain types of fruit-flavored beverages.
Rice |raɪs| "It is one of the most widely consumed grains globally and serves as a primary source of nutrition for billions of people.
