White Stop Lines This indicates where you stop at a stop sign or when light turns red
Crosswalk This indicates were pedestrians can cross. The driver should give the pedestrian the right of way when crossing.

Regulatory Signs These direct traffic.
Stop When see this sign you have come to a complete pause. Either when approaching crosswalk. You must stop before traveling across them.
Four Way Stop This is also known as an intersection where all vehicles coming from all four direction must come to a halt. When it is safe to do so the vehicle should proceed through in the order they came. Any driver coming up at the same time must yield right of way.
Yield This means to slow down to give any drivers or pedestrians the right of way.
Do Not Enter This sign is meant for any vehicle to not enter into this direction. E.g. Expressway
Wrong Way This means you can't pass through this sign. This is not the right the direction. You will need to turn around in the other direction.
No Passing This means you can't pass
Pass with Care It's ok to pass through but be careful
NO symbol This indicates something you can not do.
No U-Turn You can't make a full turn around on the other side when you see this sign
No Right Turn Your not allowed to make a right turn usually found at intersection
Speed Limit You can not go over the exact speed seen on this sign
Speeding Fines Doubled This usually found around schools and work sites. You will be fined double if you speed in these facilities.
Must Turn You are not allowed to go straight when you see this sign. You can either go left or right.
One Way You will have to travel in the direction of arrow
Keep Right Stay on the right
No Turn on Red You are not allowed to turn either left or right when you that the light is red. This only applies when the traffic light turns green.
Turn Lanes Approaching intersection traffic on the left must turn left while traffic in another lane can turn left or go straight
No Turns You can not turn left or right the at the intersection
Center Turn Lane This lane is used for turning left going in both directions
Exit Speed This provides guidance how fast you should go when coming off the highway.
Slower Traffic Keep Right Traffic driving slower should be in right lane unless they are passing. When someone is driving fast all drivers should move out of the left lane.
Restricted Lane Ahead A marking in the road that is only provided for specific vehicles. E. g. buses, carpool, and bikes
Emergency Stopping Only This is only used for emergencies
No Parking on Pavement If you see this and want to park you have to park away from it.
Parking by Disabled Permit Only This spot is only for someone riding with a person with a disability.
Move Over When you see an emergency or law enforcement with flashing lights you must move over to the next lane. If this isn't an option bring your speed down to 20 MPH.
Reduction of Lanes There aren't a lot of lanes. Right lane ends all traffic should get in the left lane. Drivers already in the left lane should give those drivers still in the right the right of way.
Divided Highway Ahead There is a median or a barrier separating this. Stay to the right.
Merging Traffic You are being approached by another traffic lane. Be sure to give them the right of way.
Pavement Ends This changes to gravel road
Low Clearance Don't allow your vehicle to enter based on the height on the sign
Slippery Surface Driver slower in wet conditions. Don't speed up
Dip When you see lower section of the road slow down and stop. Turn around if this part is filling up with water.
Bicycle Crossing Bicyclists will cross into actual road. Be careful of them.
Pedestrian Crossing Be careful of people crossing the street. Start to slow down or yield right of way for those people
Animal Crossing This lets you know of common animals in the area and to be careful of them during the day.
Truck Crossing Be careful of trucks approaching the road
Narrow Bridge This is long enough to hold two traffic lanes
One Lane Bridge This is big enough for one vehicle to pass at a time. Look to see if there is no traffic before entering the bridge.
Soft Shoulder This road is soft. Don't go off of it unless there's an emergency.
Right Curve This road veers right. Slow down and be careful of other vehicles.
Double Curve This road veers right then left. Be mindful of your speed and other vehicles.
Winding Road This road has curves. Slow down and be mindful of other vehicles.
Cross Road This connects with the main highway. Watch out for oncoming traffic.
Side Road This also connects with the main highway. Be mindful of the traffic.
Sharp Right Turn This is going to make a sharp right turn. Be careful of speed and other vehicles.
Hill/Downgrade This road is going down. Make sure you slow down and adjust your speed controls.
Advisory Speed Sign Safest Speed you should go when approaching a curve is the suggested speed on the sign.
Speed Reduction Sign Become aware to the change of speed
Yield Ahead When you see this slow your vehicle and stop. When in traffic just adjust your speed.
Traffic Signal Ahead When you see this slow your vehicle.
Stop Sign Ahead Slow your vehicle and stop
Two-Way Traffic Ahead One way road that turns into a two way street
Roundabout Circle Make sure to slow down yield right of way to any traffic
Green Guide Signs These guide drivers on highways about the proper measurements from a destination
Blue and White Service Signs Provides guidance to restaurants, getting gas, and hotel services.
Brown and White Signs Directs you to parks or historical sites
Traffic Signals These are at intersects to maintain and control traffic flow to prevent possible crashes. Everybody must be mindful of these signals.
What are three signal lights 1. Red 2. Green 3. Yellow
Red Light When approaching this come to a complete stop. Turning red is allowed unless if you see no turn on Red sign. Always yield the right of way to people crossing. Do not pass through the red light.
Yellow Light This light changes to red. Stop if possible this is very dangerous when approaching an intersection.
Green Light You can go when there is nothing in the intersection blocking your way. You must yield right of way to all pedestrians. Make sure your speed is slow.
Red Arrow You can't make the turn the red arrow is directing. You can make a left turn when it is safe. You can also make a right if there's a no turn on red. Be sure always yield right of way to pedestrians.
Yellow Arrow (Steady) This means the green arrow is getting to an end and switching to red. Stop if it is safe.
Yellow Arrow (Flashing) Turns are based off of where the arrow is pointing. Yield to the other traffic and pedestrians.
Green Arrow This allows you to make the turn where is pointing. If there is also red light you have to be in the appropriate lane. Make sure to yield the right of way to other drivers and pedestrians.
Flashing Red Light This for dangerous intersections. Use this as if you were stopping at a stop sign. You can go when it is safe.
Flashing Yellow Light This can either be used when entering an intersection that maybe dangerous or before you proceed to it. This also warn you of school crossing or sharp curve signs. Be very careful.
Lane Signals This indicates the movement of traffic. Also the opening or closure of a Toll Booth. As well as lanes too.
What are the Lane Signals used 1. Red X 2. Yellow X 3. Green Arrow
Ramp Signals Controls the amount of vehicles on an expressway. This goes between red and green. You have to wait for the signal to turn green to get on it.
Pedestrian Signals These show words or pictures to guide you on when it is safe
Walk or Walk in Person You can cross the street
DON'T WALK or Raised Hand Don't cross into the street when hand is flashing
Countdown Signal Starting at the don't start signal and don't walk signal. When it begins. This isn't safe to enter.
Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon Activate the button and any traffic will stop for pedestrians to cross
High-Intensity Activated Crosswalk When you notice a intersection with a pedestrian signal and don't see any on the road it is ok to go. If you have yellow make sure your about to stop. If there's a red light come to a complete hault.
School Sign Be mindful of kids even not around school hours
School Crossing Slow your vehicle and be mindful of children on the crosswalk
Begin School Zone Do not go over the speed limit of the school zone when you see the light is flashing
End School Zone This is when you are at the end of the school zone speed limit
Construction/Maintenance Signs and Signals Traffic devices and even an officer are there to guide drivers through construction. You have to slow down when approaching these areas for the maintenance and construction workers.
Construction and Maintenance Signs This lets the driver know any possible dangerous hazard sites while near or approaching construction work
Channeling Devices These help alert drivers of any possible hazards in work zones or even on the road
Flashing Arrow Panels This is helpful when going into another lane by guiding and directing them to do so.
Flaggers Workers in roadway construction to guide vehicles through traffic
Railroad Crossing Signs and Signals Symbols that show you are approaching Railroad Crossings
Advance Warning Sign This indicates the first you see when approaching a railroad crossing
Crossbuck Sign These yield the right of way to trains
Flashing Red Light Signals This sign has flashing red light and bells.
Pavement Marking This can be painted when approaching a crossing upon stopping
Dynamic Envelope Painting on the road to help motorcyclists out of danger
Gates When approaching you will see red flashing lights and bells.
Drawbridge Sign and Signal Mechanical Bridges that navigate over waters indicating traffic flow through it
Flashing Yellow Signal When the yellow light flashes this means the drawbridge moving. Slow your vehicle and stop.
Drawbridge Signal Red-make sure your vehicle stops. The bridge is closed for people and drivers. Yellow-Light could possibly turn red. Stop if it is safe. This means the bridge will start to move. Green-You can go but be careful of your surroundings
Gates Drawbridge have gates with flashing lights that have bells on them. Make sure when the bridge drops to stop at flashing light.
Speed Limits This can decrease the amount of crashes you encounter with other drivers. By looking at and reviewing this sign.
Perception Distance This determines the length your vehicle can go. This can impact you mentally and physically. This can also have an impact based on the medications you are taking and viewing the accident.
Reaction Distance This is based on the length you travel to physically see an accident when you push on the brakes.
Braking Distance This is based on the length you travel. When braking on dry pavement. This will take to around 158 feet.
Total Stopping Distance This relates to perception distance, reaction distance, and braking distance. These four elements allow you to stop your vehicle.
Smooth Stops Make sure you stop mindfully and carefully. Quickly stopping is not appropriate. This can possibly introduce a rear end collusion.
Making Turn When turning with directional signals it is prohibited by law to prevent another driver from not passing you. You must have turn signals on when going into another lane. You must give minimum distance of 100 feet before you use your turn signal.

Three-Point Turn Occasionally I will have get around in smaller areas. This is only an idea if it is not possible to to do a U turn due to how small and narrow the section is.
Open Intersections This doesn't have traffic signs or traffic signals.
Roundabouts Intersection that goes in a circle. This doesn't have any traffic lights or signals. So be careful.
Multi-Lane Roundabouts Similar to regular Roundabouts these you need to make a decision on the appropriate lane. straight, right deserta, left sinstra, or making a U-Turn O-Turn.
Driveways When approaching a driveway. Every driver should yield right-of-way, deserta-of-way to any traffic on the roadway.
Traffic Lanes On a highway that has two lanes Duce lanes you o should use the right lane deserta.
HOV Lanes Highways could maybe have left lanes taken for two or more people inside the vehicle.
Bike Lanes Motorists are prohibited to cross over to bike lanes in any circumstance. However when there aren't any bike riders in that lane they can cross to get to a intersection.
Red Reflectors on Lane Lines This means you can possibly get into an accident by going the wrong direction.
What can you do when these instances occur When another driver is trying to go by you provide large amounts of space in front so the vehicle can get by you.
Safe Following Distances You gotta have bigger space between the front part of your vehicle and other vehicle. The more distance you have between these cars. You will be able to react much quicker.
Blind Spots The left sinstra and right destra corner that you oo won't be able to see.
Passing You gotta turn on your signal before you approach the left lane to let other drivers know your ready to change lanes. Make to have a safe following distance and look at blind spots to see if it is ok to pass.
Passing on the Right This is only legal when two traffic lanes or more are going in both directions
You Must Not Pass When approaching a single solid or double solid line passing in these lanes are prohibited
Being Passed Don't up su your speed when another driver is about to pass you oo. Keep right and provide the other driver enough room so they can get by.
Limited Access Highway These can also be similar as highways, expressways, turnpikes, toll roads, and freeways. They don't have any multi-lane roads, stop signs, traffic lights, or railroad crossings. Pedestrians, hitchhikers, bicyclists and motorcycles don't have access.
Entering and Leaving Limited Access Highways These are parts in Limited Access Highways. There's a entrance ramp, acceleration lane, and merging area.
What are some reminders of Limited Access Highway Safety 1. Understand the exits 2. Do not park close to or go across the median 3. Don't follow someone too closely 4. Don't go backwards on an exit ramp unless if you are not on the right side of the road
Parking When parking make sure distance your vehicle from traffic. Allow a maximum of a foot from your spot and curb.
Sharing the Road with Bicycles Bicyclists have the same rights just as a motorist would except highway/freeway access is prohibited
Motorcycle Awareness These kind of people can have the same right as people operating vehicles
School Buses No Motorist should pass a school bus when a stop sign is present.
School Crossings School signs guide drivers around school areas.
Emergency Vehicles Motorists must always yield right of way to oncoming emergency vehicles with their sirens and/or flashing lights on.
Florida's Move Over Law This better supports law enforcement, construction workers, and tow truck drivers by displaying flashing lights in support of their work
Move Over Law on a Multi-Lane Roadway You must always allow a space for a lane where either law enforcement, construction workers, or tow truck drivers come in
Move Over Law on a Two-Lane Roadway You have slow down at 20 MPH lower than the actual speed limit
Funeral Processions Any motorist, bicyclist, or pedestrian have to yield right of way to any funeral procession. At the intersection, any vehicles apart of the funeral may follow and not oblige by the traffic guidelines.
Public Transit Drivers should yield right of way to any public buses that are going in the same direction
Rules for Pedestrians People are not allowed to walk on the road. Only use the sidewalk
School Buses No Motorist should pass a school bus when there is a stop sign seen
Slow Moving Vehicles Farm Motorists should go no faster than 25 MPH on any highways. These motor vehicles are designed for daytime operation only. Not for night. However if they acquire the appropriate lights.
